El nodo español de E-RIHS convoca una segunda convocatoria nacional de accesos a infraestructuras científicas y conocimiento experto en ciencia del patrimonio. En esta convocatoria se ofrecerán 5 accesos MOLAB, 4 accesos ARCHLAB y 7 accesos FIXLAB.

PTI-PAIS continua con el ciclo de seminarios online en ciencia del patrimonio, con el nombre de «Ciclo: Investigador@s en Ciencia del Patrimonio» con el cual queremos mostrar las investigaciones más aplicables a la práctica de la investigación, gestión, conservación y disfrute del patrimonio cultural, realizadas por y para los investigadores y profesionales de la ciencia del patrimonio.
El próximo 23 de noviembre con el webinar que presentará Emilio Cano Díaz, Investigador Científico del Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Metalúrgicas (CENIM) del CSIC, co-coordinador de PTI-PAIS y coordinador del nodo nacional de E-RIHS (European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science), y es por esto último por lo que presentará, «Oportunidades de acceso a la European Research Infrastructure for Heritage Science (E-RIHS) y su nodo español.»

En este webinar, Emilio Cano presentará las oportunidades que se presentan a través de los accesos que proveen para cualquier interesado en realizar investigación en patrimonio cultural a través del nodo nacional español de la infraestructura europea de ciencia del patrimonio.
Los servicios de E-RIHS se ofrecen a través de en tres plataformas: FIXLAB, para el acceso a grandes y medianas infraestructuras; MOLAB, con equipamientos móviles para realización de medidas in-situ; y ARCHLAB, dando acceso a colecciones de muestras y archivos científicos. Siguiendo este esquema, el nodo español de E-RIHS ofrece a los investigadores en ciencia del patrimonio el acceso a los servicios nacionales en las tres plataformas.
El objetivo de E-RIHS es establecer una infraestructura distribuida europea para la investigación en interpretación, conservación, documentación y gestión del patrimonio cultural. Contará con una sede central (probablemente en Florencia, Italia) y nodos nacionales.
Esta semana, el personal del departamento de Conservación y Restauración del Museo de Teruel ha visitado el #FIXLAB Laboratorio Láser de Ciencia del Patrimonio del IQF-CSIC para la caracterización de materiales arqueológicos relacionados con el adorno personal.
Esta infraestructura, ahora también a nivel nacional, provee de herramientas y servicios científico-técnicos avanzados por parte de grupos de investigación inter-disciplinares a usuarios que trabajen en el avance del conocimiento sobre el patrimonio cultural y en estrategias innovadoras para su preservación.
Grandes infraestructuras europeas de Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades Digitales: DARIAH y CLARIN en el horizonte.
El día 11 de mayo se ha organizado en el Centro de Ciencias Humanas y Sociales,de 9:30 a 14:00 esta charla para presentar las infraestructuras europeas en Ciencias Sociales y Humanidades Digitales en las que participa el CSIC.
Emilio Cano, coordinador de la PTI-PAIS, investigador del CENIM y Coordinador Nacional de E-RIHS presentará E-RIHS como un caso de éxito y de interdisciplinariedad.
DARIAH (The Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities): una infraestructura de investigación que mejora y apoya la investigación y la docencia digital en el ámbito de las Artes y Humanidades.
CLARIN (Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure) es una infraestructura digital que ofrece datos, herramientas y servicios de apoyo a la investigación basada en recursos lingüísticos.
E-RIHS (European Research Infraestructure for Heritage Science) una infraestructura para dar acceso integrado a conocimientos, datos y tecnologías a través de un enfoque estandarizado, e integrar las instalaciones europeas líderes en el mundo en una organización con una identidad clara y un papel cohesionado dentro de la comunidad científica mundial del patrimonio.
Otras infraestructuras europeas como OPERAS y GUIDE también serán presentadas.

Diego Quintero, investigador postdoctoral del National Institute of Optics del Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR-INO) ha accedido a las infraestructuras FIXLAB en el Instituto de Física Química Blas Cabrera (IQF) de Madrid utilizando sus instalaciones, laboratorios, y aprovechando el conocimiento de su equipo científico para desarrollar su investigación durante una intensa semana de investigación.
Para su investigación ha utilizado las técnicas láser del IQF provistas por el grupo Laser Laboratory for Heritage Science (LLHS): Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), Laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) y Nonlinear Optical Microscopy (NLOM).
Con ello ha realizado la caracterización físico-química de los distintos materiales para el estudio de su conservación-restauración. Lo ha realizado en materiales fotográficos (negativos) y en muestras de pintura moderna. Ha contado con ello con la plena asistencia científica del grupo de investigación al completo.
Diego Quintero (CNR-INO) ha accedido a través del proyecto europeo H2020 IPERION HS «Integrating Platforms for the European Research Infrastructure ON Heritage Science» donde se ofrecen servicios transnacionales gratuitos a una amplia gama de instrumentos, metodologías, datos y herramientas científicas de alto nivel para el avance del conocimiento y la innovación en el campo de las Ciencias del Patrimonio.
Puedes realizar tu propuesta de acceso transnacional en la convocatoria abierta hasta el 31 de mayo de 2023 a través de IPERION HS.

Johanna Leisner is a chemist, working for over 20 years in cultural heritage research with a focus on environmental pollution and climate change impacts on heritage. She is currently the coordinator of the German KERES project on the impacts of extreme climate events on built heritage and historic gardens and landscapes. She is the Chair of the EU OMC (Open Method for Coordination) expert group on Climate change and cultural heritage.

The focus will be placed on what IPERION HS is and what can do for researchers, conservators and professionals working in the field of Heritage Science.
Matija Strlič – Professor of Heritage Science Matija Strlič is Professor of Analytical Chemistry at University of Ljubljana and Professor of Heritage Science at University College London. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and of the International Institute for Conservation. His role in the IPERION HS Academy is to enable the development of a vibrant user community.
Jana Striová – Heritage Scientist Jana Striová is Heritage Scientist at Italian National Research Council, with academic background in Analytical Chemistry and Material Science, as well as in Science for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage and Management of Research Infrastructures. She coordinates the team developing an integrated and user-oriented approach to access the IPERION HS facilities and the training events for the Heritage Science community.
The UCL Institute of Sustainable Heritage celebrates 20 years and will host the Sustainable Heritage Bidecennial Conference. It will take place over four days from 22-25 March 2021, starting at 5 PM CET each day.

El objetivo de este seminario es una puesta en común de los criterios de intervención y los procesos metodológicos que rigen las intervenciones sobre el patrimonio cultural en piedra. El análisis de diferentes casos de estudio permitirá conocer el estado de la cuestión de la conservación de este tipo de patrimonio, en España y México, contrastando experiencias y estableciendo un debate sobre las distintas problemáticas de su conservación, tanto en entornos urbanos como arqueológicos.
Este seminario pretende tender puentes entre España e Iberoamérica y establecer un diálogo entre los profesionales de ambos continentes que permita desarrollar redes de colaboración en la conservación del patrimonio cultural.
Se ofertan 75 plazas. La inscripción se llevará a cabo mediante el formulario disponible en la web del IPCE. Para participar es necesario contar con la aplicación de videoconferencias Zoom.
